The Golden Age of Musical Theater comes to life with the Annapolis Chorale’s production of Lerner and Loewe’s “Brigadoon,” when two lost American tourists stumble into a magical Scottish village that appears once every 100 years! With a wonderful cast, full orchestra and chorus this beautiful love story, with timeless songs like “The Heather on the Hill” and “Almost Like Being In Love” will fill your heart with song!

Ella Green
as Meg
Ella Green was born and raised in Severna Park, MD but is currently a Nashville based artist. Some of her favorite recent theater credits include: Cinderella’s Mother/Granny/Giant in INTO THE WOODS (Virginia Theatre Festival), Jerusha Abbott in DADDY LONG LEGS (Live Arts Maryland), Ensemble in RAGTIME (Toledo Opera), Female Swing (5 tracks) in GODSPELL (Great Lakes Center for the Arts), Miss Honey in MATILDA (Off The Square Theatre Co.), and Sarah Brown in GUYS AND DOLLS (Live Arts Maryland). Ella has participated in many new musical workshops including JOHNNY AND THE DEVIL’S BOX (feat. Ensemble) and HAMLET REMIX (Rosencrantz). Ella’s recording credits include: Disney’s DESCENDANTS: THE MUSICAL (Grimhilde), HAMLET REMIX (Original Cast Recording), and SUMMER STORM - EP by Alec Green. Ella’s concert credits include: Paul Shaffer with Live Arts Maryland (Soloist, BGVs), Bernard Dotson’s: “Unexpected Songs, music dir. Tracy Stark (Soloist, BGVs) as well as numerous Marvin Hamlisch tribute concerts including performing at the Hudson Theatre on Broadway with the American Cancer Society, the Caroga Lake Music Festival and with the The Mid-Atlantic Symphony. Emily Casey
as Fiona
Described by Opera Canada as “a red-haired vixen with a sparkling voice,” Irish-American soprano Emily Casey continues to make waves as an emerging talent on the international opera scene. Praised for her radiant stage presence and agile, shimmering soprano, she is quickly gaining recognition for her specialization in the dramatic coloratura and bel canto repertoire.

This season featured several exciting debuts and projects, including the title role of Juliette in Roméo et Juliette by Gounod with Bel Cantanti Opera, Miss Wordsworth in Britten's Albert Herring with Opera Baltimore, and Elsie Maynard in The Yeomen of the Guard with the Young Victorian Theatre Company.
Ms. Casey has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous opera companies and symphony orchestras across the United States and abroad. Orchestral highlights include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Richmond Symphony
Orchestra, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with Maryland Lyric Opera, Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915 with the Trinity Chamber Orchestra, and a solo performance with His Majesty’s Royal Marine Band Plymouth. Operatic highlights include leading roles as Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Gulnara in Verdi’s Il Corsaro, Giulietta in Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Musetta in La Bohémè and Michaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, among others.

Emily has received recognition from several prestigious competitions, including the George & Nora London Foundation Competition (semi-finalist), the London Classical Music Competition (first place), the Partners for the Arts Competition (second place), and the Alexander & Buono International Vocal Competition (third place).
​
She is thrilled to appear with Live Arts Maryland again, having performed under the esteemed baton of maestro J. Ernest Greene as the soprano soloist in Handel's The Messiah and Bach's St. John's Passion.
